iSAM Securities Apex Integrates with CMC Markets to Expand Low-Latency Liquidity Access for Brokers

The main news overnight was the BOJ keeping rates on hold 0.1%. There was 'No Change' to QT (i.e. they continue to buy bonds at a pace of JPY 6trn a month) although BOJ did say they will specify the plan for reducing bond purchases at the next meeting.

The Fed has been the main news story overnight, the FOMC kept rates on hold for a seventh straight meeting. However, in the Press Conference Federal Reserve, officials dialled back their expectations for interest-rate cuts this year.

It is not often that the financial markets are compared to buses, but the data has been light this week and suddenly we have the double-whammy of an US inflation report and the Federal Reserve decision.
