Global equities are under pressure this morning as a sharp sell-off in government bonds pushes borrowing costs higher and investors reassess inflation risks. Nasdaq 100 futures are down 0.77%, while S&P 500 futures are 0.39% lower at 7,740.0 this morning.

Gold rose 0.4% to around $4,395 an ounce as a weaker dollar and falling Fed hike expectations supported demand for the precious metal.
